Thus concludes Bala Ramayana (the abridged form of Ramayana) as narrated in the beginning of Valmiki Ramayana, the first epic in the Sanskrit Language.

The result of recitation

The Story of Sri Rama iss the embodiment of Puna (merit).
It removes all sins.
It gifts everything auspicious.
It bestows knowledge.
It improves devotion.
It removes illusion and infatuatio.
It Purifies.
It is very pious.
It is full of the sacred water-like pure love.
It is auspicious.
Whoever recites, studies,listens to and contemplates on Ramayana will attain liberation.
They will be unaffected by Samsara, the shackles of worldliness, which are like the horrible hot rays of the sun.

If a Brahmana reads Bala Ramayana, he will become a great scholar. If a Kshatriya reads, he will become a king. A vysya gets more profit in his business by reading this. A Sudra will become great by reading Bala Ramayana.

One who reads this sacred story “Bala Ramayana” will enjoy a healthy, peaceful, long life, endowed with the benevolent togetherness of children, grand children and gold friends and relatives. Further, such people will be honoured in the heaven after their happy life on earth.

This is the pious story of Rama. This is equivalent to the Vedas. Whoever studies or listens to the same will be relieved of all sins.

After ruling the kingdom righteously for 11000 years, Rama reached His home Vaikuntha (the home of Lord Vishnu).

Rama improved the royal dynasties hundred-fold by infusing righteousness in them. Moreover, he motivated people of all classes and cadres to conduct themselves in a moral and ethical way of life.

Rama performed several yagas (fire-sacrifices) like Asvamedha, etc., quite often. He donated several cows, plenty of money, ornaments and cloths very frequently to the eligible people of pious conduct and good knowledge. Thus Rama became very dear to Brahma (the Creator), by these good deeds.
